Writing is Solitary

Writing is a solitary and lonely endeavor, splitting whole language into parcels meant to invite strangers into our homes where we must become the lifeblood of the party. Even when we might like to take shelter in the darkened corner.

  1. A truer thought could not have been better expressed. I’m certainly for the shelter of the darkened corner and yet I continue to invite people in.
